Equipment

  • Instant Pot

Ingredients
  

  • 200 gr Carrots
  • 200 gr Rutabaga
  • 200 gr Spring Onions
  • 200 gr Celery
  • 1 Onion
  • 2 sprigs of Rosemary stripped and chopped finely
  • 200 gr smoked Bacon
  • 2 cups Lentils green Le Puy lentils
  • 800 ml stock chicken, veal, vegetable, whatever
  • 200 ml White Wine Vinegar
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • Salt and Pepper

Instructions
 

  • Dice vegetables in a 5 mm dice and slice spring onions finely
  • Cut bacon into thin strips
  • Saute bacon in the Instant Pot on the saute setting
  • Add chopped vegetables and washed lentils
  • Add water, vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper
  • Set Instant Pot to pressure cooking for 13 min
  • Opt for slow cool down or pressure cook for 15 min if you use the fast cool down method
  • Stir the lentils and adjust seasoning - and acidity - to taste
